For about five months, Ladakh’s roads are closed because heavy snowfall blocks the passes on both the Manali and Srinagar routes. After the officials announced that the road would open many tourists and locals wanted to travel to Ladakh. If you’re visiting Ladakh for the first time, I recommend traveling via the Srinagar route. It will also help you acclimatize properly during your trip.

Below, I’m sharing the taxi rates in Ladakh for the upcoming season. The price depends on the type of vehicle you choose and the route you want to travel. Also, I’ll provide the taxi fares for famous tourist spots below.

The rates for the year 2022-23 were prepared and became effective from 1st April 2022. Since then, there have been no official updates to the price chart and the rates remain unchanged as of 2025 or in case of any price changes, we will update our price list accordingly.
