Trip Itinerary
After breakfast, head towards Sham Valley. Witness the spectacular Sangam, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Experience the famous Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to roll uphill, and visit the sacred Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. On your way back, explore the Hall of Fame museum, dedicated to the heroes of the Indian Army. This day is perfect for photography and cultural immersion while keeping your altitude stable before the higher passes. Overnight stay in Leh.
Today, you conquer the world’s highest motorable road—Khardung La Pass (17,982 ft). Descend into the dramatic Nubra Valley, a high-altitude desert. Visit the historic Diskit Monastery and the giant Maitreya Buddha statue. Later, enjoy a ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels at the Hunder Sand Dunes. The contrast of white sand and snow-capped peaks makes this one of the most iconic spots in Ladakh. Overnight stay at a cozy Nubra valley camp.
An early start takes you through the rugged Shyok route towards the majestic Pangong Tso. This stunning lake, shared with China, is famous for its changing shades of blue and turquoise. After soaking in the views at the "3 Idiots" shooting point, begin your journey back to Leh via Chang La Pass, the third-highest motorable road.
