Dzo Jongo Peak East Expedition is an exciting trip in Ladakh for experienced hikers and climbers. This tall and beautiful peak stands at 6,200m and offers amazing views, easy trails and a great feeling of accomplishment.

Your journey starts at Markha Village, a quiet and beautiful place in Ladakh. From there, you’ll hike 34 km to reach Dzo Jongo Basecamp at 5,180 meters. The trail is hard but rewarding, leading you through meadows, rocky paths, and high ridges. Along the way, you’ll witness Ladakh’s natural beauty, making the trek even more worthwhile.

At Basecamp

At basecamp, you will rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. While you prepare for the climb, snow-covered mountains surround you, creating a breathtaking atmosphere. This peaceful yet inspiring setting allows you to recharge and focus on the next part of the expedition.

Trip Itinerary

Upon arrival at the Leh Airport, our driver will guide you to your Hotel . O/n in the Leh City. Today. you can completely rest in a Leh . Overnight stay in leh city.

You need to Rest and acclimation in Hotel, Later on our Group Leader or Professional Mountain Guide who assist you in the expedition will give you a briefing regarding the expedition and itinerary plan and trip and If you feel okay today we recommended you will go for Rock Climbing for 02 - 03 Hours with your Mountain Guide before going to summit in Mt. Kang Yatse II at 6200m or else you can visit to nearby famous places like Shanti-Stupa, Leh Palace, Tsemo Gompa. By evening you'll go the leh Market if you need to buy anything for the expedition, You 'll find in the Market. Back to the Hotel. Overnight in Leh.
Early morning breakfast we will drive towards the Trek point to-wards Markha Village via Zanskar River alongside of the Road. Make sure you are ready for this expedition. We will drive towards the Markha Village from Leh City which 3 Hours Drive, After you reached at the Sara Bridge Point, then we hike towards the Sara Village Which is 0.5km Hiking and Reached at Camp we are gonna fixing our Camp at camping Point where you feel the Mountain and Spirit of Expedition. By Afternoon or Lunch You'll Roaming around the village for the while and find out the Culture and Lifestyle of the Village. Being a Climber always remember respect the Mountain. Comeback to Camp-site and Have some snack. Overnight in the Markha Village Campsite.
Early Morning wake up and fresh yourself. And later on enjoy the First Breakfast in the camp-site to enjoy the view of the Great Himalayas of Mountain. Please Remember you are in Expedition and Just make yourself more Discipline, And listen the Mountain Guide Words and Follow him. Back to the Plan : Today Trek is quite challenging if you are heavy Junk food eater believe me this Hiking Burn your all calories. From Markha to Hankar Village trek that is almost 12km hiking in-between you'll find the beauti-ful landscape of the Mountain and Scenery. By the afternoon You'll reached at the camp or have snack in the campsite at Hankar Village. Overnight in the Hankar Village.

Same Routine to follow up, Wakeup-Fresh yourself- Eat-Hike. So today we will hike for almost 5km from Hankar Village to Thunchungtse Campsite. You'll find the beautiful landscape and Cross the Hankar Village. Reached at Camp-site, have some snack or food. Overnight in the Thuchungtse Campsite.

Early Morning wake up and back to Leh City via Kongmaru-La Pass which is another summit for you. This hike is 17km from the basecamp and You'll wakeup very early and start hiking. And Reached at Trekking end Point where our Vehicle Ready to get back to Leh City.

After the breakfast we will excursion towards the Leh Airport , So its time to departure.
