Trip Itinerary
Your day begins at 9:00 AM as we depart from Leh in a comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle. The 90 km journey is an experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of snow-draped peaks, crystalline frozen rivers, and the serene, untouched beauty of Ladakh’s winter landscape.
We arrive at the majestic Khalsti Ice Wall by 11:30 AM, where you will be introduced to our team of highly skilled and experienced climbing guides. Before touching the ice, you will receive a comprehensive orientation on our professional-grade equipment—including helmets, harnesses, crampons, and ice axes—ensuring that safety remains our primary focus throughout the day.
The climbing session commences shortly after, with our guides providing hands-on instruction to help you master the fundamentals. You will learn the art of precise hand and foot placement, building your confidence as you begin your ascent of the towering ice face. With our experts by your side every step of the way, you’ll find the support you need to reach new heights.
At midday, we pause for a well-earned lunch break amidst the spectacular winter scenery. This is the perfect time to relax and recharge with a nutritious packed lunch and hot beverages, preparing you for an afternoon of further exploration.
During the second half of the day, you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself on more technical sections of the ice wall or refine your technique. As you celebrate your progress with the group, our guides will share fascinating insights into the natural formation of these massive ice structures.
We conclude our activities at 4:00 PM and begin the return journey to the city. You will arrive back in Leh by 7:00 PM, carrying with you the incredible memories and the sense of achievement that comes from conquering one of Ladakh’s most impressive frozen wonders.
